THE FILM INDUSTRY

These are some of the role's in the film industry, i've explained some information about each role in a little more detail.

Production
production in the film industry is usually broken down into three sections, pre-production, production and post production. The project is broken down and distributed throughout all three of these sections in order to create the overall film.

Pre-production
This is where all of the 'before' work is done, all the preparation for the film is carried out
is this section. script writing, casting and finding a financial investor is all part of the pre-production stage.

Production
This is stage where the film is captured recorded and created.

Post-production
Post-production is the final stage in production, this is where 'the film come's together'. All the footage shoot from the production section is edited here, as well as sound effects and music editing.  This is where the movie is put together and created.

Distribution
A distributor is a individual or organisation who does marketing for the film and is held accountable for film realises. Here are some examples of some Film distribution countries , anchor bay, Dream works and 20th century fox.

Exhibition
This section is the final link in the chain. In this section the film is finally published and shown to the consumers, a exhibition is usually a theatre or cinema where the film is shown. An Example of a Exhibitor could be Cineworld or Odeon, Exhibitors are usually large international companies with movie houses in multiple locations. This is ideal as the film can be easily accessible for the consumer.
